Jay Thomas took his TREK Domane to victory at the 2012 Gravel World Championships. Choosing to go light and fast, Thomas rode an almost unheard of setup using his Bontrager/SRAM equiped TREK Domane with 25c clincher tires over the 150+ mile parcours that encircled the city of Lincoln, Nebraska. The route primarily composed of dirt and gravel roads contained over 10,000 feet of climbing. Jays finish time was 9 hours and 6 minutes.

New Name, New Look, The TREK Cyclocross Collective
Welcome to the new look of Trek Midwest CX. We're honored to be a charter member of the new TREK Cyclocross Collective. Joining us on the team this season is eight-time US National Champion Katie Compton (the coolest part, she'll be pitting with us this year at the USGP's), as well as her husband Mark Legg who himself won the 2010/11 Masters 35+ USGP Series Title.
Omaha native and current Kansas City resident and all around CX hammer Tom Price has joined the squad this season. Tom comes to us via the strong KCCX-Fuji team. A multiple USGP winner and regular podium finisher at the USAC National Championship, Tom brings years of cyclocross experience to the team.
Back for 2012 is UCI Masters World Championship bronze medalist Mark Savery, along with team manager owner Jay Thomas and Matt Tillinghast. To read the complete press release click the link above.
